COSIME acts as SPV manager on behalf of the private partner in the first transportation project to be executed in PPP mode in the province of Quebec.
The project consists in a 35-year concession for the design, construction, financing, operation and rehabilitation of a 7.2-km highway link, including a six lane cable-stayed bridge with a fully electronic toll system. The project includes a free multi-user lane for cyclists and pedestrians as well as a reserved bus lane.
The project was completed within budget, and the bridge was opened to traffic four months ahead of schedule. COSIME, who is now in charge of operations, is recognised as a leader in PPP project management.
